The Friendly intermediate guitar class brings people together who already have basic guitar and musicianship skills in a fun social setting. The focus of the class is on using basic open chords, introducing basic barre chords, playing melody notes, and strumming patterns with the guitar.
This will be done by playing basic mainstream songs covering Rock, Pop and Folk of bands of the 1950's through the 1980’s. Course will include very basic ear training and an introduction to basic musical theory and concepts to help students understand why songs sound like they do.
