About the event
The Scovilles are a new Rock and Roll band, but this guitar-centric trio has years of collective expertise steeped in Roots/Rockabilly/Americana music.
Chicago native singer/guitarist Steve Szczeblowski cut his teeth playing Punk and Rockabilly in high school, channeling his inner Link Wray and founding local bands, most notably The Moondogs, who shared bills with legends Ronnie Dawson, Sleepy LaBeef, Robert Gordon, The Paladins and many more.
Bassist/singer Rami Soini hails from Finland, where he fronted his own great Eurobilly combo, The Flat Broke Trio.
Finally, as Joe Strummer once said, "A band is only as good as their drummer", and Chris Swade knows how to rock and swing with the best of ‘em.
