About the event
The student jazz jam at Friendly is a celebration of both new music and learning the jazz tradition. The opening set features original compositions from some of Chicago's finest jazz musicians. During the second part of the evening people are invited on stage to perform jazz standards. People of all skill levels and ages are welcome. Rhythm section instruments are provided.
