Chicago singer/songwriter Ron Lazzeretti writes simple songs of love and redemption-- alternately dark, funny and buoyant.
His two records, “Battle Of The Planets” and” Fat Head Sunday Paper” are a mix of Americana-style sensibility with an unexpected touch of jazz. It’s a rare combination of lyric-based storytelling and danceable, free-style jazz.
Dave Walker brings that jazz and his guitar stylings make the mood and run with it.
Isaac Lyons rounds out the trio, the wild card. His keyboard always finding a fresh way in. His accordion bringing equal parts nostalgia and something altogether different.
