Join us at Friendly on May 1st for the opening of Nature Nurture, a gallery exhibition exploring the deep connections between the natural world and the creative spirit. This show brings together three Chicago-area artists with distinct perspectives: Sara Brogan shares her lifelong passion for oil painting, bringing a spark of color and formal technique honed since her time at UIUC. Jessica Pignotti offers a playful fusion of fine art and craft, featuring intricate mixed-media pieces that combine hand embroidery, beading, and domestic artifacts with natural elements. Rounding out the collection is Jessica Thuente, whose nature-inspired illustrations and portraits mark a vibrant return to her artistic journey.
