Night of 1000 Stars

Join us Saturday, July 11th, for a mesmerizing installment of the Night of 1,000 Stars featuring PIPES. Fronted by the commanding vocals of singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Cheryl Lynn Tomblin, this Chicago-based project delivers a spellbinding mix of dark musings and contemplative desires. Backed by a stellar band—Dave Walker on guitar, Joe Fournier on baritone sax, and Ryan Shepherd on drums—PIPES crafts a rich sonic landscape that draws from the gritty depth of PJ Harvey, the low-end groove of Morphine, and the haunting blues of John Lee Hooker. Expect a night of smoky, textured rock and roll that perfectly fits the stellar summer atmosphere.

LaRaie Zimm will take the stage backed by the Undertones Jazz Trio and we've also have special guest star Jane Walker. This is going to be a special night at Friendly.
