An award-winning multi-instrumentalist, composer, and recipient of the prestigious Luminarts Foundation Jazz Fellowship Award, Mira is widely recognized as the founder of The Coffee Jazz Collective—a dynamic, free-form group that has featured iconic jazz musicians like Robert Irving III, Larry Brown Jr., Justin Dillard, and David Boykin. Striking a masterful balance between tradition and modern musical innovation, Mira’s original solo compositions explore complex themes of spirituality and the human condition. Driven by a passion for creative exploration, this intimate performance will showcase her command of unconventional harmonies, unique phrasing, and intricate time signatures that push the boundaries of modern jazz music.
