Bobcat Opossum is multi-instrumentalists Sean Hoffman and Ellen Coplin. They draw inspiration for original music and repertoire from traditional music across Irish, Americana, bluegrass, classical, and old time music.
“Bobcat Opossum is a tune slinging, genre bending duo from the back alleys of the Midwestern wilderness. They’ve picked through the field and around the campfires for the tastiest folk songs and fiddle tunes in all the land. They have trod the rugged roads of Irish and Old Time American traditional music and have lived to tell the tales.” – Liv Lafluv
Formed in the humble prairie town of Vermillion, South Dakota, Humbletown has emerged as a powerful multi-genre bluegrass-inspired ensemble. Now based out of the Black Hills, the band is inspired by the quiet beauty of pine-filled forests, with original songs inspired by their home and travels, intricately performed on Morgan Carnes’ clawhammer banjo and Dylan Lewis’ flatpicked guitar. Influences of bluegrass, old time, hot club swing, Americana, and classic country take you on Humbletown’s musical journey stretching across time and space.
