About the event
Inktrail is an instrumental trio from Central Illinois consisting of Tommy O'Donnell (guitar), John Ganser (drums), and Ryan Nolan (bass). This dynamic trio has garnered a reputation for dazzling live audiences with their improvisationally driven original jazz, rock, experimental, and punk compositions. The varied tastes, musical experiences, and musicianship of each member coalesce to create truly unique and inimitable genre-bending live experiences.
Each member is deeply embedded into the fabric of central Illinois' creative community. A storied history of contributions to legendary central IL classic country, jazz, rock, and alternative ensembles as well as DJing, audio engineering, and production work have solidified their individual legacies as stalwart central Illinois creatives. Soaring guitar melodies, succinct rhythms, and unique musical compositions comprise the palette for which Inktrail's improvisational focused musical explorations are spontaneously derived.
