Falling Stars brings their roots-inflected power pop to the Friendly Tap for an evening of hook-driven originals and well-chosen covers spanning Nick Lowe to Leonard Cohen to The Replacements.
Their recent Garden Variety EP, recorded at Chicago's Wall to Wall Recording, showcases what critics have called "sunny side up optimism" wrapped in crunchy guitar jangle that rewards close listening.
