Modern Day Saints: Anything Can Happen / House - 45 RPM Vinyl
The Modern Day Saints began in Southern Illinois in 1984, traveled the country in a van like a pack of hobos till 1989. They moved to LA and lived at the bottom of the Hollywood sign hill on Franklin. They played the usual hot spots: The Whiskey A-Go-Go; Club Lingerie; The Central; The Palomino. They have released their first music since 1992 (search youtube for Modern Day Saints at Club Lingerie, Hollywood CA for great live footage from 1992).
Side A - Anything Can Happen, a tale of surviving self medication.
Side B - House, their endlessly enjoyable ode to the naïve belief in home ownership (and yes, Billy Preston graced the Hammond back in 1991 on the original recording and thanks to modern technology his track has been transported to this release.)
