Join us for four Sundays of creative exploration, connection, and craft. Whether you’re a new storyteller or looking to sharpen your skills, this workshop series will help you shape your stories from the ground up and bring them to life.

- MAY 18 – Story Creation, Discover the building blocks of storytelling. Through guided exercises, you’ll learn how to generate story ideas, shape your material, and find the most compelling way to tell your tale.
- MAY 25 – The 3 C’s: Character, Conflict, Conclusion, Explore the essential ingredients of a powerful story. Build a strong narrative skeleton as you develop your characters, introduce meaningful conflict, and craft a satisfying resolution.
- JUNE 1 – Story Presenting: Connecting to Emotions, Learn to bring your story to life by tapping into your emotional truth. Use present tense and vivid recall to create an empathetic bond with your audience.
- JUNE 8 – In Front of the Mic, Tackle the practical side of storytelling. Gain confidence with preparation techniques, stage presence, microphone use, and self-assessment strategies in this hands-on
About your Instructor: Errol is a Chicago solo performer and storyteller. His stories have been heard at Backroom Stories (now Backyard Stories), Do Not Submit, This Much is True, Serving the Sentence, Ten X Nine, online at the Elmhurst History Museum website, and he is a recent Moth Slam winner. He also participated in the National Storytelling Festival.
